The atmosphere in the squad is very positive and the players confidence are high. I am sure Tromso players will not be afraid here. Benfica have been at the lead of the Liga ZON Sagres for most of the season and with 3 rounds to go, they had a 4 points lead over arch rivals Porto and it seemed that they`ve won the battle for another title. Unfortunately for them, they`ve let slip through their fingers 2 crucial points on their home match vs Estoril Praia, while in the title derby, they`ve suffered a very painful defeat, even though they`ve opened the scoreline at the Dragao. Kelvin scored an injury-time goal and Porto won 2-1, and this defeat will most probably cost Benfica the title. It remains to be seen how Jorge Jesus` lads will recover mentaly after this shock.

Chelsea have had a disappointing season so far, as they`ve failed to defend their Champions League title, being left out of the competition from the group stage and they`ve been unable to keep the pace with Man. Utd. in the battle for another Premier League title, but they have an important chance to finish the season with a trophy. They could be only the second team after Jose Mourinho`s Porto to win the Champions League and Europa League in consecutive seasons. John Terry and Eden Hazard are doubts following injuries during Saturday`s 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

Benfica have had a very impressive campaign on their domestic league, but they are heading into the match on the back of a disastrous defeat that could cost them the title, while Rafa Benitez` lads are unbeaten in the last 8 matches in all competitions (6 wins). Furthermore, Benfica will have to play against the tradition, as they have lost the last 6 European finals they`ve played, while Chelsea`s Rafa Benitez is a specialist of the KO competition, as he already won two European trophies: the UEFA Cup with Valencia and the Champions League with Liverpool. Also, on last season, on their route to the Champions League final, Chelsea have eliminated Benfica following two narrow wins: 1-0 and 2-1. I expect something similar this time too.

Bruno Saltor (calf), Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) remain unavailable, but the home side is a tough nut to crack at home. They lost just 2 times home and have the best defensive in the League.

Manager of Crystal Palace, Ian Holloway has managed to get the promotion with Blackpool few seasons ago and he is certainly able to build a solid resistance on The American Express Community Stadium (Brighton, East Sussex). The team was playing poor in the last period, but managed to get some points that helped them find the way to Play Offs. They were the dominant side few days ago in the match played in London, but Brighton looked rocked solid in the back. Striker Stephen Dobbie is ineligible as he is on loan from Brighton, while top scorer Glenn Murray (knee) will not be available either!

Home side is going to be the main team tonight. They are having some solid game play in the middle of the park and are very positive. Crystal Palace should be opening themselves if they will want something here. Bologna have 40 points and they have secured Serie A status. However, Bologna is in terrible form. They are defeated on the last two matches. Even worse, they were humiliated by loosing 6:0 from Lazio and 3:0 from Napoli. The coach Stefano Pioli has some additional problems before this match - the key striker Alberto Gilardino will miss the game due to suspension. But that`s not all. I think Parma will win here. Even more, I expect to win in handicap. The hosts are in better form. As I already wrote above, Parma have won the last two matches. We must respect those results. The team is almost complete for this game, only two players are unavailable - the defender Jacques Faty and midfielder Yassin El-Azzouzi. The last one is not important at all, he played as replacement in just one match so far.

Montpellier are on the 7th position, but it seems that`s the maximum for this season. They are 8 points behind 6th placed St. Etienne and the difference are too big. Montpellier is in very bad away form, loosing the previous four matches on road. They were defeated by Nice, PSG, Bordeaux and Ajaccio. To be even worse, Montpellier will be missing five important players for the trip to Corsica. Cyril Jeunechamp, Mathieu Deplagne and Younes Belhanda are suspended, while Garry Bocalu and Jamel Saihi are injured.

I expect at least three goals here. Bastia are strong at home. I already wrote they scored four goals against team like Lyon. Montpellier are coming to Corsica without motivation and without five players. Most of the missing players are defenders (Cyril Jeunechamp, Mathieu Deplagne and Garry Bocalu). That is why I am expecting an efficient match. The reverse fixture played in December ended with 4 goals. Crystal Palace was shinning bright in the debut of the season and the board named at a specified point an experienced manager to build the way to Premier League. Ian Holloway and his solid experience was supposed to help the Eagles to fly high. Palace found the way to Play Offs winning points exactly when they needed most and here they are. The Seagulls managed to get the promotion from League One two seasons ago and last year they ended on 10th spot in the Championship. Many tipped them to make the Play offs this year which they finally did! Undefeated in last 9 matches with 5 wins and 4 draws, Brighton are a solid side and will be hard for the Eagles to beat them! Away they weren`t that convincing and made more draws than wins! Strikers Craig Mackail-Smith (Achilles) and Will Hoskins (knee) remain long-term absentees, but Wayne Bridge and Inigo Calderon return to the squad.
 
A draw is a very probable result as both sides have made many matches ending as draws: Brighton made 18, most of the Championship, while Palace 15. Brighton lost just 9 matches this season and have the best defensive play in the League.
